"Vivid Dissonance: Reflections on Industrialization" (2024/2025)

In my current series of paintings, still in development, titled 'Vivid Dissonance: Reflections on Industrialization,' I explore humanity amidst industrial progress through surreal imagery. Depicting fictitious business leaders against polluted backdrops, the series confronts the darker realities obscured by glamour. Through stylized portraits, I prompt reflection on the dual nature of progress and its environmental impact. Inspired by surrealist, art deco, and pop art influences, the artwork serves as a poignant reflection on the mass production and consumption of the 20th century.
